| It caused a big stir when Orla Eggert in 1953 presented the first Jewelleries from Flora Danica. The Jewelleries made from flowers and leaves of nature, a wide selection of the Danish Flora, collected in the garden and in the edge of a ditch. Flowers have been a source of inspiration for many. The colours and scent of flowers can not be captured, but the beautiful expression of flowers, has been immortalized by Flora Danica in the many Jewells which are presented in this catalogue. |
